Meat and Veggies

One of my first meals that I cooked when I started eating healthier last week was Meat and Veggies. I wanted something easy to make, filling, and cheap.

Last week I used Lean Ground Turkey. It lasted me five days and was less than $5 for the meat.  I used less than a hand full for my portion of meat. Threw it in the pan and cooked it. Then I got my veggies ready. You can use whatever veggies you like, but I used: mushrooms, frozen broccoli, and asparagus. I cut them all up and once the meat was pretty much cooked I threw the veggies in. Once everything I was cooked I put a little garlic salt in with it just to give it a little added flavor. I was able to have this all cooked and ready to eat in less than 20 minutes, you can’t beat that.

Ingredients:

Lean Ground Turkey (You can also use turkey sausage if you want to try something different)
